
As an anchor organization in the Illinois Clean Jobs Coalition, The People’s Lobby played a significant role in passing the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act in 2021. Since then, we’ve worked to make sure that this new law realizes its full potential in creating equitable jobs across Illinois.
Currently, we’re focusing on winning a bright climate future for Illinois by winning the progressive revenue we need to rebuild public transit in our state in a way that protects our environment and gets everybody where we need to go.
